This teabag inspired piece consists of used teabags attached to an acrylic under painting on canvas. UV protection and acid free fixative were applied to the teabags which were attached to the painted surface with acrylic medium. Some of the teabags retain dried tea which creates a sculptural effect. Acrylic paint has been added to create a colorful surface. Several layers of acrylic medium and varnish were applied to the entire surface of this one-of-a-kind multimedia art. The sides are painted black. This unique piece is gallery wrapped and ready for hanging.
