This gorgeous fine art scarf began life as a single cup of tea. As tea drinkers from around the world send their used, dried teabags to The Teabag Project, they are collected and processed in Ann Laser's studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Carefully selected and sorted, these individual teabags become the raw material from which Ann crafts her works of art. Inspired by Ann's work, designer Lisa Keating translates phographs of the finished pieces into the wearable art you see here. Our Tea Tile scarves are based on the original piece entitled Mellow. (see notes for more info).
Each piece is custom made to order and hand finished. Slight variations in color should be expected. This scarf is gorgeous in person, but coloration is closer to the source artwork and more intensely hued than the scarf photo. Please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery.
