This teabag inspired piece consists of used teabags that have been opened and the tea discarded. The opened teabags are attached to an acrylic under painting on canvas. Collogue elements an acrylic paint markings add to the mystery of this unique piece.  UV protection and acid free fixative were applied to the teabags which were attached to the painted surface of the canvas with acrylic medium. The textured surface created by the teabags is protected with several layers of acrylic medium and varnish applied to the entire surface of this one-of-a-kind multimedia art. The piece is framed in dark brown wood and is wired ready for hanging.
